Check out This Blog!
This blog has a lot of advertising related to hyper sexuality and gender stereotypes, I saw similarities in the ads we have posted and I liked some of the comments written on the advertisements themselves. Here check it out:

I think this is the first time I've seen a blog anything like ours--that is, one set up just for a particular class. Theirs had a lot more of the personal: self-introductions, and the like. If we had this to do again, would you want this blog to include stuff like that?
ReplyDeleteno I like our blog, but I do think that it would be neat if we had an assignment to draw on an advertisement to have a critique. Their blog seems to have more to do with gender & sexuality than ours and ours has more to do with consumerism but that's because of the courses they are created for. I do think that some of the comments are fairly ignorant and that it gives more reason to not open it up to the public, at least I hope that all the comments are from the public, not from college students because of the lack of respect for the writers, and the poor grammar/spelling.
